We are very excited to announce that our 2012 annual conference will be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Within walking distance of the best in LA restaurants and nightlife, the Biltmore offers easy access via freeway, three major airports, and metro… and it’s a short drive from Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and the beach cities.

The CFI group room rate will be $169 for single/double.

Attractions

Staples Center (1.5 miles) – located adjacent to LA Live, the arena is host to the Los Angeles Kings hockey team, as well as LA Clippers and Lakers basketball and is located five minutes from the hotel. Call 213.624.3100 for event information.
Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Music Center and theaters (0.4 miles): encompassing the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, these venues present live music and theater performances, including nationally-touring theater productions and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and is located less than one-half mile from the hotel, within walking distance
MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art (0.45 miles) – features one of the country’s most prolific permanent collections of art created after 1940, and presents ongoing exhibitions. Transportation

The Metro Red Line subway stop is just one block from the hotel, across from Pershing Square at Hill St. The Red Line connects to Union Station, where trains regularly depart for San Diego, Lancaster/Palmdale, Orange County and other destinations. The Flyaway Bus also departs from Union Station to LAX Airport. Other Red Line stops include North Hollywood, Universal Studios and throughout Hollywood. Nearby buses also connect all Los Angeles neighborhoods. Check Metro for schedules.

Directions from Airports

From Los Angeles International Airport (12 miles), exit beyond Terminal 7, stay in right lane to Sepulveda Blvd. to 105 Freeway East (Norwalk). Proceed to 110 North (Harbor Freeway). Exit 6th Street, 4 blocks to Olive Street, turn left. 1 block to 5th Street, turn left. 1 block to Grand Avenue, turn left and turn left (2nd driveway) into the hotel. Travel time twenty-five to thirty minutes.

Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport (15 miles) is also just twenty to thirty minutes’ travel time, located northeast of downtown.
