This position is with the Translation and Interpretation Section of the Federal Community Defender Organization for the Southern District of California. An eligible applicant must be qualified by the Administrative Office of the United States Courts as a Certified Court Interpreter for Spanish/English proceedings.
Salary Range: $105,185. – $136,738.

Duties include: Interpreting in all three modes at all stages of criminal defense, document translation, transcription of recordings, certifying accuracy of evidence translated by others, word processing skills and/or the ability to learn the software used for transcription and translation.
