Attorney Survey: Language Access in Los Angeles Superior Court

In January LASC reportedly implemented further cut backs in interpreter services as part of ongoing reductions over the past 18 months in the number of interpreters available at court locations. According to the California Federation of interpreters, the cutbacks are resulting in unequal access and impacting due process rights in interpreter related proceedings. See our Report to the Legislature on access to interpreters.

Has this affected your practice? Have you had problems with interpreter availability or other interpreter related issues?

This online survey will take 5 minutes or less to fill out – only 9 short questions.
