Last October, a call for nominations was made by the CFI Elections Committee to produce a slate of candidates that would cover the following positions in the Joint Governing Board for the 2012-2013 term: President, Northern Vice President, Southern Vice President, Northern Professional Division Director and Southern Professional Division Director. The following slate has been submitted to the President of the Board of Directors:

Having no more than one candidate per vacancy, the Elections Committee Chair submitted the list of candidates to the CFI Joint Governing Board, who declared such candidates as the elected officers, pursuant to Article IX, Section 8 (f) of the CFI bylaws:
(f) If at the closing of nominations not more than one person is nominated for any of the vacant seats, the Nominations Committee may, without further action, declare that the person nominated is qualified and has been elected.
Our congratulations to the new Board members, who shall begin their two year term on January 1, 2012. We wish them great success and hope we can all echo their commitment to our profession.
