Monday, May 17th, 2010 The Passing of George Esquivel

Dear Colleagues,

We are sad to announce that Spanish Language Interpreter, George Esquivel passed away last week. At one time George taught ESL for the Los Angeles Unified School District. He became an interpreter with the Los Angeles Superior Court in 1973. George was respected not only as a good colleague but as a highly educated man who also happened to have a great singing voice. He was esteemed by all who worked with him and he will be greatly missed.

George’s wife, Demy passed away of cancer in March. They had hoped to retire to Mexico. He is survived by his adult children.

On behalf of CFI, we offer our condolences to his loved ones.
